<lj:music>Slick Willy Mason - So Long</lj:music>

Well well well, another classy night last night for myself.
Thought writing it down might try and piece it all together.
Began by going to the tron, with steph and stina, went to 3 sisters, then a pub in the grassmarket - which equalled several pints of cider. Met up with Linz and Cat and went to Stereo for a boogy and a few drinks.. or alot of drinks. Danced to classics *ahem* such as Summer of 69, Its My Life by Bon Jovi Then went to head home, but decided nah lets go to Espionage, so off we went, with 2 guys we'd met.
Espionage was a drunken blur, had the best moment of being thrown out at closing but still having a pint left, so steph hid it in her jacket..

bouncer: "excuse me, can i check ur coat"
steph: "nope sorry, nothing there, bye"
bouncer: "no really let me check ur coat"
steph: "alright alright not gonna lie to u, i do infact have a pint hidden in my coat"

Waited outside... chatted to man including a slightly inbred Irish man, and i managed to just fall to the side, very comedy fall. Then we walked alot. Steph made me laugh and I fell to the ground, had a bleeding knee and just lay on the pavement laughing hysterically at 6am - classy! At 7 I realised I just had to get home, however I was up high facing Arthurs Seat, and totally lost, ended up walking off alone, then realised I had not a penny, proceeded to call my mum. She found me on the ground crying my eyes out - bless her, apparently I was stinking of booze - hardly a shocker in retrospect.
Gone to get my new glasses today, they are Dolce and Gabbanna - oooo and vastly pretty, however still sticking to my contacts! Had to get taken up by my gran, and in my awful hungover/still drunk state, i was hanging out the window slurring "i'm gonna be sick" - was the least pleasurable car journey. Now sitting - eating the contents of my house.. bleeding hungry all the time!

    <lj:music>Oasis - Rock and Roll Star</lj:music>

Mmm okay finally finding the energy to write a wee update regarding my weekend.
Well was at T in the Park, and it was great! I am beyond burnt due to the ridiculously un-Scottish weather we've been experiencing. Got there on Saturday took my stuff to the tent, and got sorted. Headed to the main arena and I saw:

Death from Above 1979 - well heard mostly not so much saw
Maximo Park - short period of time I saw them for, actually not bad

Went to the silent disco after this, from the outside u watch people dance to nothing with head phones on, and its hysterical, then u get in and they are blasting prodigy through the headphones and pretty soon u r one of them - was fandab!

Aberfeldy - some summertime magic, was superb, so happy and fitting for the day. Did lots of songs I really like and was just lovely.
Death In Vegas - briefly wasnt too bad
Rilo Kiley - immense, I love Jenny she was downright great, tiny crowd showed up but guess they arent big here
Killers - great for a sing song, really enjoyed myself, highlight being All These Things I've Done with a mass "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" moment
Streets - second Streets experience, preferred it in a smaller venue, but as always a good old time
Foo Fighters - Dave looked beautious did afew new songs, and alot of older ones which went down well, was fantastic and my 4th time seeing them, always always great!

Went back to the camp site for some vodka and a big chat. Didnt last long all knackered, couldnt even move my body to the Beat 106 bus for a dance - ended up in bed about 1, having applied lots of after sun to my bright red arms and shoulders.
Woke up next morning - sorted my ugliness out, wore a more covering top and went outside at bout 10 sat about drank yet more warm vodka, and we had a big sing song with an acoustic guitar, did The D - Double Team etc, some Spinal Tap songs, and Stephen did his rendition of the Bodyform advert adding a nice verse regarding feminine hygene. Went down to the arena and saw:

Razorlight - very little - but enough, cant be bothered with Johnny body like a chicken nugget Borrel - hate him!
Ended up in a beer tent drinking free cold cider, was immensely nice, continued until...
Snoop Dogg - was great - drop it like its hot etc
More cider...
Kaiser Chiefs - wanted to see more but was dying of heat so..
More cider...
Kasabian - was pretty good, enjoyed myself..
More cider...
and finally Green Day - yay, was immensely good, crazy crowd, Billie as usual working the crowd, did Jesus of Suburbia and well the set list i've seen before but was no less great. Really loved it. However a drink with something odd in it was thrown and went in my eyes burning them and my face, so had to get out the crazy bit. Now scared I'm gonna go blind, lol.

Went back to the camp site, for yes more vodka, a big natter, and Kings of Leon sing song till around 3, got up this morning and now home, and I am burnt with the worst tan lines, one from my over the shoulder bag and stuff, all oddly placed and hugely noticeable. Booo... great weekend though roll on next year...

    <lj:music>Elliott Smith - Somebody That I Used to Know</lj:music>

Just got in afew hours ago from the Coldplay gig:

Started with getting to Glasgow mild long cut taken by driver, but finally got there, ended up having a Pret a Manger sandwich and another Haddows carry out - mmmm embarassing! Got a bus to Bellahouston - which was commentated throughout by me sitting in the back of the bus shreiking about seeing the godliness of Gaz Coombes! Neither John or Finlay were impressed - Morag mildly understood!

Got there went to the bar had a few wines and headed down for some Supergrass magic! And god damn magic it was! Did all the songs I really wanted to hear, sang alot to Grace, Pumping on Your Stereo, Mary, annnnnd bleeding Late in the Day and Kiss of Life - which were just god damn immense! I was literally unable to stop smiling the entire way through and resorted to biting the side of my cup and making small screamy noises! Gaz was lurrrrvely and then they finished and I honestly didnt care if Coldplay ever came on, oddly my night had been made.

But we headed down to the front - or the second barrier, as there was a front bit already sectioned off! Didnt take long for Coldplay to come on, and break into Square One - was great - more pushy than T in the Park previously, which had already been crazy at Coldplay. Had to push and shove, and got into a verbal and slightly physical fight with a little ned who punched me, he then got a punch back and an earfull! All together however a really really great gig, big old sing alongs at Yellow and Clocks, Warning Sign etc. Ended on Fix You which was utterly gorgeous... love that song! Finally got home, which didnt take too long - but costed far far too much!

Really good gig though, feeling so shattered, and have the Murrayfeild Live 8 gig next week - feel its gig overload - which I usually get when its this mad... alas McFly are playing which should be a laugh - wish Claire was home so I could shout about Mr Potato Head Tom - when u return however u'll be hearing all about his godliness...

Hope u enjoyed the gig tonight Alasdair by the way....

MMmmm had an excellent/hilarious day!

Went to Glasgow to see Oasis! Finally got to Hampden to go to the pub with John - sadly due to the vast amount of up for it Oasis fans all pubs were full and had queues - so sadly we resorted to old school tactics of Haddows, big bottles of alcohol pops... and mixing a big bottle of vodka with a bottle of diet coke and drinking on the street.

Got to the gig, and it was packed, ended up so far back, but as soon as they got on stage i was told to get pushing. I very quickly got to the big giant insane area at the front about 5 rows from the front, and I was the only girl due to the madness - which I was quite impressed at!

Was an amazing amazing gig, did lots of the hits, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall, Cigarettes and Alcohol etc. The band were on top form, even had Liam and Noel laughing and smiling as we all took over singing Live Forever and Don't Look Back In Anger - was a bleeding immense moment! Was really amazing... very very impressed! Ended on a cover of My Generation which was just a great finisher!

I have Coldplay on Friday - alas i'm well more excited for the support act of Supergrass - cannot wait! Ach having a nice mellow happy nostalgic Oasis moment... great night!

    <lj:music>The Cure - Boys Don't Cry</lj:music>

Well I woke up this morning, feeling a bit wine filled - after last nights mini party where i consumed a nice big bottle of vino - yum yum.

Today was the day of U2 concert, so I got myself sorted with Sarah, and got picked up by Ross and John...! Got there and found a nice pub, played pool - which i suck at - especially when Ross is whispering choice - off putting words, and John's waving his crotch near the pocket i was aiming for...! Left the pub feeling merry (= drunkity drunk drunk) - and got my first ever Subway - i got a Meatball Marinara - was a disaster, slastered everywhere... I'm just a knife and fork kinda gal. Went to Hampden - no bar or alcohol to be found - so I got a brief spell of terets and blaimed Bono for it all!
Had the coolest moment of not getting into the front cornered off bit at the stage cos u needed a hand stamp - but we used Sarahs eye liner and drew on our hands and somehow managed to get in....! So were really close, saw Interpol - who were pretty good.

Then U2 came on... well Bono was the ponce to end all ponces - he really does act like he is the messiah on stage, and occasionally i was wanting to kick him in... but his voice is pretty amazing. Stage was done up really well, and they whipped through all the plebby hits I felt I needed to hear - With or Without You, One, I Still Havent Found What I'm Looking For, Pride... allll good! Was pretty cool - not as good as i'd hope, but overall a band I wanted to see live at some point.

Afterwards... went and got a pizza - a spicey chicken pizza, which i was informed by John wouldnt be that spicey and we decided to share it. Now I cant take spicey food and John loves it... and both of us couldnt feel our lips, the roofs of our mouths were peeling off, and we were choking - was oddly funny, and totally painful! Now home after the longest car ride home, took a mad detour... so glad to be home, I'm in pain, look funny, and smell a little less than fresh, lol. Mmmmm mmmm mmmmmm

Wellll had a great night...
Initially meant to be a small drive around, since it was such a pretty night. But Claire and Cat met these guys on their promotion job, who were up from London, with their works exspense account...and they offered to take us out, to show them the sights of Edinburgh and they'd pay for everything! Sooo we got a taxi up town, then went to Mulligans, then to Dragonfly for Moet and Chandon champagne, and cocktails - I had a yummy Cosmopolitan... theeen we went to City, and had a big dance, though was toooo hot! Such a fun night.. we toasted with the champagne to the the company exspense account, lol, was great! Now I'm just in... knackered and feeling full of fizzy crap :( But hey good night was had... getting used to this no college....

Oooo Claire how did Politics go?

Wellll exam yesterday, psychology, one down! Revised all morning, and stupidly didnt look at Ainsworth stuff cos "i know it" - and boom it came up in the exam and I was like oooo boooger, cos alas I dont know it. Went alright though, i'd say I passed but prob not got what I need for Glasgow so I'm going to be boarding the clearence train woot woooot!

Errr came home and started sociology revision, but soon gave up to watch some woman on channel 5 get $300 000 worth of plastic surgery including getting a mole cut off with a strange medievil torture device, and have her nipples moved up... cue me screaming covering eyes and genuinely feeling a little squirmish. Yeees so I then watched Sex and the City and went to bed, only to be called at 3am around 5 times by a drunken Jamie... i just kept hanging up.

Today I have txt'd Brett to tell him how hard at revision i am... as I pressed send I clambered back into bed, having only got up and out of bed 45 mins previous to watch Loose Women, and started reading Bridget Jones's Diary... well what he doesnt know cant hurt him. Enjoyed the wonder of Bridget Jones at one point laughed so much my tragus piercing went flying out of my ear and landed somewhere in the messy abyss of my room.... never to be found again I imagine.

Finished the book, after my promise of only reading afew pages and getting down to revision... and put it down realising to my dismay I am infact down to a tee a single, neurotic Bridget-alike... and so I came down and wrote in my diary... just to prove I am nothing like her... ahem...

Not written in ages, but I went to a psychic today and wanted to get what she said down before i forget. In some ways it was totally dissapointing, she said things that did not apply to me at all... like i need to drink more water which i never do apparently (i drink around 6 jugs a day) that i have sore joints (not so much) ummm that i wake up all the time in the middle of the night around 2-4 (nope i am such a sound sleeper)and something about my urinating, lol, which was not true either!

The more general stuff she said was..... in relation to love and things I always fall too deep to quickly, and that spirits are soon going to guide me to avoid this. I dont stick up for myself enough when it comes to relationships, and she said she see's me and wishes she could push me in the back so I stand up for myself, she says I must choose men more carefully aswell.

Okay she also said last 2 yrs havent been the best for me, but the future is looking great, really positive and change will occur and that it will be good. Err that I need to travel more, and I will, possibly a year away between 20 - 24. She says I always get a nervous tummy and I really need to listen to it. Hmmm errr Holland is going to be important. She says I'm very mentally tired - its not physical.

Okay apparently she sees a man in my future, he is very funny, great personality, has a very big laugh and we have so much in common, and he'll be the one I'll probably marry... and he'll have a wee mark at the side of his eye and he'll be a tiny bit taller than me, and that he's very animated with his hands when he talks. She also said she really likes him She says I'm deeply romantic and sentimental... ummm that theres someone at the moment and 6th is important... and that she sees him talk to me and she doesnt necessarily trust him cos things he says can be read into and have double meanings, and I should watch myself, though we do have a great laugh. Errr I'll definitely have kids, she sees one of them will have the most beautiful eyes, and will be quite huffy and a real character and we will have our problems.

Hmmm. Oh a train is important but she doesnt quite know why... she says it'll be like the orient express. And she said I have a great strength of character. I'm sure there was more... but I cant think now. Oh i know, that I like odd shaped things... lol, umm that she can see me in my wedding dress, and it wont be all white it'll be slightly original with ivory aswell... but I'll have a big huge white wedding. That I'll have butterflies and my stomach will go funny and I'll think its the wrong thing to do, but she said she promises it isnt. Though I mustn't marry early cos she says it'll end in disaster, 26-28 is a good age for me. Oh yeh and that property is very important to me, cos I need that stability to build my life around and stuff. Hmmm okay minds gone blank now.

Dunno how I feel about it all.... left feeling pretty pissed off... but I dont know, it was all nice and positive which is a bonus.

    <lj:music>Bright Eyes - No Lies, Just Love</lj:music>

Well yesterday was good. Went to college which was decidingly dull... then went up town to meet Steph. Sat in Uluru having a few drinks, and a chatter... then several drunken hours later we went to the Idlewild gig! Was so so good! Though did get dragged into the mosh pit - alas hugely scary for my 5"3 ness... but I was going for it! Steph left me after Love Steals Us From Loneliness - to go to the loo, and promised to find me when she got back.... then never did come back, and when I met her at the end, turned out she'd got bored and went to the Shakespeare for a couple of pints! So i was alone the whole gig basically... and I was winded, and I lost an earring, and I am a bit bruised, but definitely worth it!
Idlewild were really good, better than when I saw them at T in the Park afew years back. Did alot of the songs I wanted them to do, except Remote Part/Scottish Fiction - which I was mentally pleading them to play throughout and never came. But they did do Roseablity and I Am A Message which was cool. Roddy was lovely as usual. Really good Ramones cover with Sons and Daughters! Managed to be front row for most of the concert so got a few good pics on my phone. Errrr so yes, really good time.
Was hoping to see Clara, but being the "wank" she is, she forgot her phone. **humph** just kiddin. I wanted to see Liam in his pink top.. and put names to faces - Alasdair, Mark etc.
Today has been just a big loooong time of revision - which hasnt been entirely fun.... going to go back and do some more now... fun fun fun....

Well I have no real recollection of writing that post last night! Sure it'll come later in the day!
Currently having flashbacks of horrendous txt messages which were sent to an unsuspecting person! I swear to god I am the Queen of the drunken txt!! The txt that u dont remember when u wake up - then it comes later in the day - like a thunderbolt, and u wish someone had taken the phone off u and slapped u hard....! Mobile phones should have breathalisers too avoid such incidents, a swift blow into the phone and "i'm sorry ur clearly a total steamer and you are not allowed to txt"....
Anyhoooo last night was pretty fun - highlight may have been the balloon man - who made a flower bracelet for me! He then proceeded to tell me of his friend who had just died from lung problems - what a hoot he was!
Errr today plan appears to be a whole lot of fun filled revising! Got a bummer of a NAB tomorrow... cant be bothered! Errr annnd ooo maybe getting Garden State today - yay finally released - cant wait! Recommend all to purchase! Okay off to watch more Ally McBeal and hence more Robert Downey sex pot!! Then I may make a nice morning after bacon sandwich - mmmmm.....

Went on a bar crawl with Claire, Cat, and Fran - went to Tron, Bank Hotel, Mitre, Whistle Binkies, Fiscles, Cafe Bar, Siglo.. and finally Stereo - then off to McDonalds where Fran and Claire stuffed their faces! Good night - quite a laugh!
Okay today I went to Uluru, theeen Cavendish or now Lava Ignite! Biggest queue - was huuuuge! But Fran got us on the V.I.P and we were in in 2 tics having afew drinks! Was great! Not changed much though - still same old same old! Err went to Darios - got food, ran so we didnt have to pay, lol! Then bumped into Matt - who'd lost andy annnnd ..... got his glasses broken (clean in half) by a lap dancer... u couldnt make this stuff up! Finally found andy with some random hugely embarassed girl - such a shame!! His parting words "do u just want some cash" - ooooooo he meant well but was not well said or taken!
Okay home with a really bloody foot... its pouring and sore, but i didnt really notice! <lj:music>Lauryn Hill - X Factor</lj:music>

Hmmm I feel poop, this feeling of sheer poopness developed earlier tonight, and now I'm sitting my wee pink polo shirt and funny little boy style pyjama bottoms looking decidingly pissed off.
Had a wee NAB today - it went okay, i did quite alot of prep for it, so i'm glad it went okay, and I think I got almost everything down. But I have 3 NABS next week, which is a god damn nightmare and a half - oh yeh Claire got a psych one for individual differences on Thurs. Errr I went up town briefly after and bumped into my oh so camp old best bud, still very much the same - but was good to see him.. we had many a fun time, including throwing jam jars at people from his flat window (young and stupid).
Tonight my brother came for tea, and we watched telly and stuff, nothing at all exciting. Feeling a bit lonely at the moment, kind of in both a friends sense - my are all so busy with Uni work and the like, Claire's in Stirling tonight, and Fran's currently killing herself working on a project - the list goes on, and well I am hating see oh so happy couples prancing around town - damn u! So yes feeling a little rubbish - my overly cuddly nature is taking over and I just need some love.
Anyhooo err not a plan for tomorrow to be seen. I almost caved tonight and went to the Liquid Rooms, but my awful mood, and my tape of Life As We Know it, and my promise to not drink kinda stopped me. Hope i'm not missing out on anything too fun. Well I'm gonna take my little woe is me self elsewhere..... **plods off**
**runs back** oh yeh a positive note to end on - Susan always says this is good to do, lol, I may be going backstage at Idlewild on Tuesday. I couldn't afford a ticket but my friends oh so lovely (not so much) boyfriend is going to probably get us passes :D woot woot. Roddy will be stolen and carried home in my bag.... **skips off**

    <lj:music>Elliott Smith - Pretty (Ugly Before)</lj:music>

Well I'm currently feeling rather happy due to the fact I just discovered Mr Conor Oberst will be playing T this year in the King Tuts Tent - wahay! Just praying he doesnt just do songs from his two current albums - i need some Lifted.. and some Fevers and Mirrors stuff. So he's playing then Sons and Daughters theeen Big Slick Willy himself - Willy Mason - shall be great!
Today I've done very little - woke up feeling like Michelle McManus had planted her ass on my head - meaning big old headache and not that I felt smothered by a lady of the larger persuasion. So I decided college was a no go, especially having seen the rotten un-sunny weather. So I stayed home and revised my media sociology stuff while screaming Alanis Morissette at the top of my voice - which I oddly enjoyed. Feel kind of on top of it now - understand the Glasgow Media Group stuff etc - always a bonus. Beginning to freak a tad about exams, nearly only a month away - ahhhh!
Got no plans for tonight except possibly watching telly, my non drinking is still going very well - Claire I might actually last! Go me!! I'll prob revise a bit more, and jump on my trampoline, oh and watch the O.C! Yes Claire ring out with ur "I told u so's". I do blame my friends for this slip up - never would it be my fault **polish up halo above head**

Went to Cargo tonight which was lovely. Had a pretty okay day - woke up at 1 - lazy sod, and watch Robert Downey Jr again on Jonathan Ross - yum! Then went and bought a cute polo shirt from Ocean Terminal - came home and watched Dr Who - guilty pleasure and got ready for my night out. Largely uneventful but I'm priming myself for next week - reopening of Cav and then Alan coming through.

I have so little to say - so I'm off to possibly watch Kill Bill and finish my cup of tea!
Hmmms well can't say I've been here in a while! Love to say it was due to my vastly busy schedule - of course my busy schedule only actually includes recovering from one big long hangover and going to college twice a week - where i only actually chat to claire and laugh!
Had an okay day... woke up with a sore head from the nights befores activities (Madogs and Prive Council - £1 drinks damn u to hell!). Stumbled several times walking to the shower, and finally felt slightly more human when I got out. Had the lovely joys of college which was alright - just a good laugh. Except my headache and feeling like a big pile of poop! No excitements.
Errr just read Claire's political entry - ach dear me claire! I'm pretty sure I can guess the results of the election anyway.
Not much to report - hopefully getting Weezer tickets tonight if I can persuade my mum that she is definitely feeling the need to part with £25 - really want to see Rivers and co.
Hmmm today... I woke up at 3, felt sooo lazy, but i had 5 new txt's on my phone, felt quite loved! Though oddly my delightful ex Nick was at Olivers and I was soo tempted to go up and see him. Ended up watching Romeo and Juliet and quoting the whole thing as I went along.
So yes got up today and went to gym with Nuala, shock horror! I actually worked my bahooty off, felt pleased with myself! Though looked manky afterwards, and Claire questionable jumper boy from Psychology was there, the one with shit hair, i was so embarassed! But hey he's the one with rubbish hair and awful clothes - and a huuuge nose if we r nit picking! So yeh came home, and had planned to go to Estab for a bit of a laugh, but just couldnt be bothered cos Nuala had bought me P.J bottoms and they are light blue with a texan theme, and well I couldnt be parted from them, and dont think ppl in Stabbers would be impressed. Though Jamie has been calling giving me hourly updates, each one drunker than the other..!
Still got my psychology project to start, and Its getting closer and closer to the deadline :( hmmmm cant be bothered! Nevermind.

Hmmm welll yesterday consisted of doing very little and then getting picked up by steph for our night out in Dunfermline of all the rocking hot spots around! Went to hers and managed to neck a litre and half of vodka between afew of us, was fun, did our usual sex, boobs, boys chat, our standard thing! Then headed out, to what we thought was a pub, but no it was a club, and it was like Rev, but worse! So we left there pretty quickly and head off to this random bar club place, which was pretty cheap for a weekend! There was also a pole, so filthy/nasty comes on and I am on that pole in like a second, lol, hugely embarassing, but hey was drunk! Had a good old laugh, txtin Brett which I now regret! Linzi got steaming and was like throwing her head about and falling, she's awful - we met her boyfriend and he was shocked at her being so drunk, we on the other hand were completely used to it!

Ummm ooo I started crying oddly - and ummm we went back to the house, and I sat in the garden crying away! Minutes later out runs catherine in my bra stuffed with paper screaming "LOOK its like I have boobs!!!" - which somehow cheered me up no end, and I went in, to a flurry of bra swapping was pretty fun oddly! Carried on drinking till about 6am, which I am paying for now, and had a natter with Cat, then off we went to bed, and I was awoken at 10 by Steph laughing at me cos I was sleeping with my mouth open, hot stuff I was. And now Steph drove us home, and I freely walked around a station forecourt, and pumped up her tyres, etc in a top stained with coke, and stripey pink pj bottoms with eeyore on them, my hair scraped back, and glasses on, its a wonder I'm single I tell u that!

Now home, and I've watched Peter Kay dvd, and eaten a bacon sandwich, thats about it to be honest! Still good! Out tonight i think - dunno if I can quite manage it, but gonna try!
